But, since the 1:30 rule was coined to guide pictures with nothing closer than
7 feet, it doesn't really matter!

Yep - you gotta cover your back! But, speaking as a tech-head without hang-
ups, I couldn't agree with you more. Do what you like, and give it a try. If
it doesn't work, then modify and try again. But at least, do something - not
just discuss it to extinction before trying it out!
And this comes from someone who prefers playing with equipment to taking
pictures (but I DO take pictures!) that's saying something!
