P3D Twin Rig Made Easy

I saw an interesting homemade twin rig bar at NSA. The base was an 
aluminum carpenter's level. Two pieces of acrylic were used on top to 
attach the cameras and one piece on the bottom to attach to the tripod. 
Add various screws and nuts... and voila! Nice and light! Was that 
Gabriel's idea? I can't remember who made it. I met so many people, it 
was all a blur at times. I also remember meeting Lawrence and Steve.

These homemade jobs fascinate me. I give a talk at local camera clubs 
about enjoying your photography on a budget, which includes make shift 
or do-it-yourself equipment. (My mottos: Never spend money if you don't 
have to. If you can't find it at a yard sale, go to the dollar store and 
work your way up!) Hats off to Bill Davis, the King of VM Alterations!
