P3D Remembering Names at NSA '98?

While travelling to the NSA Richmond convention, I had
mixed feelings about it, that I couldn't really pin down.
That was until I straightened it all out in my head.
It felt like going to one extended family reunion and
a blind date at the same time!

Meeting so many people and placing the faces to the names
was sometimes difficult to keep track of since most of us
were sleep/food deprived with so much to do. The first day
was especially hard cause I was exhausted. This was because
I couldn't sleep the night before since I was excited for
the trip down. Even though I was dead tired the first day
and only got slightly more than half the amount of sleep
I normally get the other days, I was getting more energy
day by day from the excitment of the convention! It still
hasn't worn of yet, I expect it will soon. :-(

Anyways there were some people (myself included) that had
a hard time remembering who was who as I mentioned above.
It seemed after awhile a pattern of nicknames had settled
in and it was faster to remember who was who from the
"nicknames". I compiled this list from the convention.
Here it is!

The Shirt Guy, Tom Martin (and my roommate) selling his
popular Realist, etc. line of clothing.
The Moon Guy, Thom Gillam a stereo print photographer
specializing in stereo moon shots among
other things (and another of my roomates!)
The Ascii Guy, That's me! Also known by other names.
The CD Guy, Dan Shelley from across the hall!
The Red Suit Guy, Tom Deering!
Computer/Nude Guy, Boris Starosta!
Light Guy, John Baird!
Lady Bug, Andrea Blair!
VM Guy, Rich Dubnow, senior VM photographer for
                     over 20 years!
12x VM Guy, John Dukes
and of course....
Dr.T, Who doesn't need to be named!!!

there were probably others but I forget! ;-)
