P3D Cheap slide scanner - poor quality, but hey...

This is only cheap if you've already got a digital camera, but it's 
possible to take shots of Realist slides through a radex viewer. I can't 
imagine you'd be able to cobble together an acceptable digital stereo 
pair with this method, but it's fun anyhow for a quick thrill.

This has nothing to do with stereo photography but, the same weekend my 
pal duped a few of my Realist slides from Greece with his $200 Fuji 
digital camera, we also captured his pickle electroluminescence 
experiment - he with the Fuji and me with my Realist (haven't developed 
the film yet). Great fun; who would think you could get a pickle to glow 
by running current through it.
