P3D Re: Curious Deep Math Tale

Andrea (the happy bumblebee) Blair, like you, I disregard measurements
and just take pictures. But, apparently unlike you, I have a natural
curiocity about how things work. The geometry and theory behind stereo
photography is fascinating, even if it is not needed to take good pictures.
The biggest reward behind derving fundamental stereo photographic formulas
is not that they give you a tool to take pictures but that they make you
aware of what is involved, or "how things work". Deriving and undestanding
theory and formulas actually makes some people (like myself) less inclined
to use them!

So, if the theory or formulas do not interest you, just skip the messages.

Thank you!

George Themelis
