Just remove the plastic bottom of the non-lighted cutter (comes off easily;
not even glued) and put it on a light table - works just fine. I've added
little felt "protectors" to the bottom of mine to prevent the light table
surface from being scratched - they're available at any "five & dime";
normally sold to stick onto lamp bases to prevent furniture from being
scratched.
