Also known as: single camera sequential exposures; side step, or
weight shift.  This is my favorite type of stereo shooting.  Even though
I have a Stereo Realist I mostly use my Pentax IQZoom 140 for the
Cha Chas as it gives me perfect exposures each time, zoom option,
all automatic features, and best of all fits neatly in my purse and can
go with me everywhere. Dr. T  describes the process  perfectly.
 But for "people pictures," forget it -- unless you can yell "freeze" 
at the right time.  (Also avoid blowing leaves, flying birds, waterfalls 
and speeding cars.)
