your
wallet and write a check. Selling your work is one thing,
giving
money to NSA is another. I don't understand why these
should be
done together. There are many avenues to sell your work and
there
are many ways to donate to NSA, either money or time."

Let me tell you and all of the other members of this board
that
Bill Walton already does ALL of the above! He donates $$$
to the NSA every year, he also made a sizable cash donation
to the Holmes Library this year. He serves full time as
Chairman
of the Board for the NSA. He receives no "perks" for doing
this and there is a heck of a lot of time spent trying to
solve
minor and major catastrophes.

ASIDE from doing all this, Bill takes the time to make
stereo
views that always sell at the NSA auction and donates that
money to the NSA as well. He also donates his views to
the library on a regular on-going basis.

I don't know of anyone who donates more time and effort
to the NSA in particular and stereo in general. The NSA
can benefit greatly from folks who will donate their views
(slides, cards or other formats) to the auction. The
auction
helps pay for part of the convention as well as bonus
color issues of Stereo World and things like that.

If you or others feel your work is not something you want
to see in the auction donate some of your slides to the
Oliver Wendell Holmes Stereoscopic Research Library.
We are actively seeking donations of all types and would
appreciate views from any/every one on this digest.

Perhaps you are afraid your views won't sell, is that the
problem? Don't criticize those that "do" when their work
is such an important part of the volunteer support effort
for NSA.
