Jim Laupan of the Upper Midwest Region of the NSA apparently
takes a Realist body and customizes a new lens shutter
assembly to makes what is said to be a "more accurate"
version of the MR. Also, see a siamesed Nikon for $2,800.

I, too, have gone through Macro Envy. But, as said before, I
want a med. CU, narrow base camera for close portraits
and objects de arte'. I think a sharp 12"  sould be much more
practical than shooting everything at 3" or so.
