Sure, I'll recant. But don't make me look up the later issue, where the
editor appologizes for the misleading cover, which appears to be an
ordinary photo, but is not.
And thank you for underlining my point. The cover of Scientific American
may show what appears to be a photo but is actually an illustration. This
is clearly the case with the Land photo several of you have sent me.
So I'll admit the minor mistake about it not being mentioned in the
magazine, so long as the other participants admit that photos in magazines
do not constitute photographic proof. Deal?
