P3D Stereo Club Histories

I couldn't agree more, Dr T!  Wouldn't you love to have a time machine to
drop in on the Hollywood Stereoscopic Society when it met at Romanoff's
restaurant and Harold Lloyd was President?  Stereophotographers who
documented THOSE meetings included (past Presidents) Art Linkletter, Bob
Cummings and others such as Edgar Bergen (sans Charlie McCarthy), Frank
Capra and Ronald Colman.  Those guys all brought their Stereo Realists and
Kodak Stereo cameras to the November 1955 meeting when Jayne Mansfield came
to pose for them!

But even if these clubs and their stereographers are not celebrities, the
work they produce is an important (and often cutting edge) part of the
history of 3-D.  This should be documented, as should NSA conventions and
any aspect of the art and science of stereography.
