Doesn't that high resolution gain one the cropping latitude that you
lament being missing?

Sounds nice.  Unfortunately my monitor (1280 x 1024) is max'd out at 85-Hz
refresh even though the card can go faster.  But then, I've given up on my
VRex glasses.  I tried it once (on my previous monitor) but it turned the
screen yellow-ish which I didn't care for.  :-(
