P3D Stereo Base Calculators

A similar device was illustrated in the 1974 issue(?) of American
Cinematographer, and I have seen references to a similiar item in the
literature. I would be also be interested in seeing something like this.
The device was designed for adjusting Interocular between 2 movie cameras
and at the time, I recall that it was for 35MM cameras. It also took into
account adjustements of mirror when the cameras were too big to move close
together for close-up stereo photography. This was mentioned specifically
in the article because two Mitchells in sound proof blimps are far to large
to put side by side.
There is also a company that rents a handheald stereo computer, but I am
not sure of its features or if it is something one can buy.
