|Two weekends ago I was enjoying a peculiar event.  A farmer in
|south-central Wisconsin had given over a large area in his corn
|(maize) field for the construction of a labyrinth (maze) in the shape
|of our fair state.  My wife and I, and two friends, joined the hoards

This sort of thing seems to be growing (slight pun). There is
one here in the shape of Montana, with an actual "Big Sky" script
mowed into it. Quite complex.  It would be interesting to get a stereo
aerial photo of it!
