P3D Loreo stuff.

Our club Loreo just got back froma year's sojourn around the country. 
One of it's users shot slide film and it turned out surprisingly well,
which got us to thinking about how project them.  I remember seeing
something somewhere called, I think, a "stereotach".  I remember that it
was made by a company up the road in Covington KY and it purported to
show slides made with mirrored stereologizers by placing a split mirror
in front of the lens.
It looked nearly simple enough for me to build, but I don't know how the
polarization was effected.  Is anyone familiar with this device?
