A patent is documentation of an idea, that is all.  Lot's of goofy,
non-working things have received patents.  The proof comes a lot further
down the lane, maybe.

And what would the patent office do, build and test all that stuff?  No,
there's no prize here. Nice try though.


I am not so sure of this. Concepts and ideas can not be patented. And at
one time, the inventor was required to build a working model of his/her
patent before it could be patented.
