During the year and a half that I shot with an auto-everything Canon
SLR with color print film, I didn't learn much - despite reading photo
books like crazy and the option of "manual" operation.
When I bought the Realist and started shooting transparencies, guided
by P3D (home of George "Sunny 11" Themelis), I started learning hard
and fast.
Just one man's experience.
