For the record, this was the plastic-housed stereo adapter sold by
Reel-3D, NOT the Pentax which is substantially better made, uses
first-surface mirrors, but costs hundreds of dollars. It will likely
give better quality results, but it will still have the problem of being
a half-frame aspect ratio (vertical or "portrait" format).
