P3D Patent Patter
>>OK, suppose I file a patent application describing a processing method by
which a regulation basketball is lightly dusted with powdered sugar, at
which
point it reduces in volume to the size of a golf ball, permitting it to be
easily transported, and when the powdered sugar is brushed off, the
basketball
returns to its original volume?
Now, now, now.... we are getting off track here. There are hundreds of
pages of regulations and rules that govern the act of getting something
patented or copyrighted, and the Baseball anology is just a tad silly. I
suggest one goes to Patent Office Web Site and read a little. It will make
it a bit more clear.
Patents are complicated, expensive to obtain and takes time to research.
