Gabriel!  It has been discussed many times... The entire design
is different.  For Realist 3.5 and 2.8 lenses, the 3.5 have three
elements while the 2.8 have four elements.  (to understand what this
means, consider the simple lenses = one element vs. achromatic
lenes = two elements in viewers... camera lenses require more elements
to give good optical performance)
