P3D Sears Stereo Card Set

Someone asked when the 50 card set from Sears Roebuck was produced. 
Apparently it was put together in late 1907-early 1908 as it first
appeared in the Sears Catalog in the Spring 1908 edition, according to
the excellent article by Larry Wolfe, in a 1978 Stereo World article. 
There were supposedly 10,000 sets produced and at the last count Sears
had one set left.   I loaned the local Sears Store my set, about 10 years
ago, and they had them on display, with some stereoscopes, just inside
the front door.
