I worked on those glasses and hired the artist who produced the art (Carol
Lay).  It was a gimmick created by 3D Video of North Hollywood in 1983 to
promote the anaglyphic 3D TV broadcast of Gorilla at Large which was merely
(!) a 3D movie and not actually in "smell-o-vision."

In 1987 I packaged those banana glasses with the Jungle Adventures 3-D
comic book  published through the 3-D Zone.
