Thank you, George, for indulging my exagerated question. {:>) It's not 
that I didn't understand what you were trying to say; I just felt it may 
have been confusing for people new to stereo photography or photography 
in general. Your detailed explanation has addressed the concerns I had.

Just a note for people who do both "flat" (2-D) and 3-D phtoography, the 
principles are the same. Using hyperfocal distance is a common practice 
in 2-D photography as well. It is not solely a 3-D tool.
