And with base of 15 mm? and 6 mm, and 3mm, and 1 mm, and .1 mm? 
Do you see more and more gigantism (but not 4, 10, 20, 60 or 600 times 
enlarged)? No, you see the total collapse of a geometrical theory which
is not controlled by perceptual facts. 
Seeing unfamiliar images will not help :-)
This is common knowledge which we sometimes tend to forget in discussing 
geometrical concepts.
