First, it is inexcusable to develop a cartridge of slide film as print
film. Slides end in "chrome" (Kodachrome, ektachrome, fujichrome) and
photos end in "color" (Kodacolor, fujicolor, etc...). Someone working
in a developing lab should know the difference between slides and
prints!
Second, I have had good luck with Kodak by using the phrase "Stereo
Realist format" in the special instructions section. Others have used
similar phrasing. I agree that using "...3-D..." should be avoided.
Third, please remember there are people involved in these processes.
Sometimes mistakes are made. And I personally am willing to forgive and
forget so long as the mistake was admitted to. An "I'm sorry, we
screwed up" goes a lot further than "well, you should have...". Yes,
I've had prints screwed up before. I had a roll of our Disney trip lost
never to turn up again. And I didn't even get a free roll of film :-(.
Just my thoughts,
Ron
