P3D Too Much DEPTH!?

Something wrong here.... The physical scene had just the right amount of
depth.

Then Tony A. mentioned "double depth" and I epiphanied what Tom did.

He took a natural picture with objects up close(three to four feet?) and also
with infinity objects in the picture.

Then he mounted to a slide window of about seven feet to keep the near objects
behind the window and pushed infinity objects uncomfortably far apart! Is this
close to what happened, Tom?

I'm not *discomfited* by long depth range, properly mounted. Sometimes it does
seem *unnatural* to me, which it may with unortho conditions and certain
subjects.
