I haven't noticed this, although the concept was discussed in rather
gruesome detail a while back (I wear glasses, I'm safe...) however what I
*have* noticed is that many people seem to flip a viewer upside down as
they take it away from their eyes. I don't know how many times I've
watched the slide hit the floor. Now I always hand new people the viewer
saying "don't turn it upside down", just like I have to tell people not
to let the lever snap up on a Viewmaster Model D. Telling them the price
of the Model D usually cures them of that one in a hurry...
