P3D Springsteen Prize Update

Hello, clever friends. 

In stipulating my taste as the overriding standard, I seem to have
finally set up a Deering-proof set of criteria for the competition. 
This gives hope to the less manic hopefuls!  Take your time, but fail
me not!

Patience will be a virtue in the current manifestation of the "fatuous
base-math gadget" challenge.  I am in no hurry for submissions, and
will not hurry to select a winner.  This is partly to buy time, as I
have decided to try to win the prize myself!  (Conflict of interest? 
You bet!) Once I have the gadget in hand, and perhaps before, I intend
to dazzle the stereo world with my base manipulating confections. 
Pudding spoons will be provided. ;-)
