P3D Re: VM storage (and then some)
In digest 2969 Gabriel Jacob wrote on the use of diskette drawers as VM
storage :

Gabriel, you're absolutely right ! It wasn't my intention to 'claim' an
invention. Just want to share with all you guys on this list what I think
comes in handy (and cheap). And these ideas are very simple most of the
times because I'm absolutely no stereo wise-guy.
I'm glad you also referred to Dan's 3D-CD.
You know of course that there is a second one in the makes ?

See, this is just what I mean. Another couple of usefull tips !
Thanks Gabriel.
And in digest 2970 Gary Schacker comes up with another good one :
>Here's another "obvious" solution that may be new to some.

Hey, this must be the season of good and easy to realize ideas !

There is even a better way to clean contacts. Use contact spray (60 or 65)
which is available at Tandy (as far as I know). Use it scarcely. It will
solve (no pun intended) all your contact problems (only on metal contacts).
Sorry for any 'late' responses. I'm in digest mode (and I like it although
it has a couple of drawbacks).
I don't want to be filtered out and/or excluded ! I'm trying to learn from
everybody on this list. That's why I'm a member. I read each and every
digest !

I don't think this is a problem. Lens assemblies are easy to obtain.
There is one at eBay at the moment !
It's easier to replace than to repair. Contact me via private mail if you
want more information.
