Sorry to hear that. But what are the dealers selling now,
tables? Are camera trade shows future soon going to be over?

Ahhh, George never ceases to amaze me with his astute observations
and business acumen. I have noticed this too, I agree with him that
ebay like auctions are changing the name of the game, for better
or worse. We have to accept the inevitable. It wasn't that long
ago that the global market didn't even have access to S3D (or P3D
for selling, before S3D existed). I for one wouldn't have had
access to all this 3-D stuff and information if it wasn't for
the Internet and of course it goes without saying this is true
for most of us.
What I have noticed on ebay there doesn't seem to be a consistent
buying pattern. Sometimes a popular 3-D article will go for dirt
cheap and then the next day the same item will command a handsome
fortune! An example of crazy prices is recently Ferwerda's book,
"The world of 3-D" going for ~$75! This book can be bought NEW for
only $45 but obviously the buyer wasn't aware of this. I guess they
assumed ALL 3-D books are from the 50's and are out of print. BTW,
the book was sold by a popular 3-D dealer. I am not trying to say
the dealer took advantage of anyone and I am very happy that he
could get such a great price, my point is what Dr.T is saying is
true; most P3D/S3D dealers are migrating over to ebay.
Gabriel, see yea on ebay!
