The internet movie data base does indeed list it as being made in 1953 (I assume
it was shot in that year), in Color and shot in 3D. Dunno what the location was.
USA release is 1953. A bit of trivia - Rock Hudson suffered an acoute bout
of appendicitis on the last day of filming. Rauol Walsh directed. Written by Roy Huggins. 
Released by Columbia (USA) and Ideal (UK).
