P3D Re: Sell-3d

Sorry, I've been on vacation this past week so I skipped 17 of the 18
digests I received.

I'm assuming that there was a proposal to remove sell-3d?  Well, as a
purchaser of 3D paraphanelia from time to time, I prefer the separate
listing of for sale items.  It's easier to browse through than trying to
find for sale items in the regular p3d digest.

Regarding the comments on ebay, well, it's an auction site.  If you want
to sell your 3D items there and it's getting a better sale price than
your sell-3D offerings, go for it.  I appreciate those who have offered
products through sell-3D.  It's where I bought my Kodak Stereo.  I also
appreciate people like Dr T, who offer Realists at what I consider a
very reasonable price to those interested in starting out with a 3D
camera.  If his sales are motivated by a desire to promote 3D to
novices, than I think the sell-3D is a good place to advertise.  If he's
motivated by maximizing his profits for his 3D equipment, than maybe
ebay is a better outlet.  After all, there's more subscribers.  I know
I've overbid for items (IMHO anyway) simply because of the "heat of the
auction".

I guess I'll have to start checking ebay as well as sell-3d.
