|Okedokie, That is very useful information about adjusting the lens
focus -
|now what is your approach to getting the required DOF? Does limiting
|the shutter blade's travel length (to provide a narrower aperature)
|work? Would the idea I broached a while back of making pinhole
|aperature masks inside the case, behind the lens, be doable?

I didn't do anything to modify the DOF, since I wanted to continue to
use the camera for bog-standard 3D photos. I don't know whether smaller
aperture masks would be possible.

I've never seen DOF as being a limitation, and I don't know why (maybe
I'm not fussy enough).

Given the simplicity and reversibility of "my" modification, you may
like to do it and see what happens.

There are two ways of constructing a software design: one way is to make
it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other is
to make it so complicated there are no obvious deficiencies - CAR Hoare
