P3D Calling All Macro Photographers

There is talk of creating a Close-Up/Macro folio. Anybody interested in 
joining this activity, please contact me off the list. There are plans 
to include both Realist format slides and standard cards. Other formats 
may be considered. Sorry, right now this is for North American residents 
only. Once it has circulated and we get a good idea of interest, it may 
be expanded to include overseas or another folio may be created. Anybody 
overseas who is interested in the idea may still contact me so I can get 
an idea of how many would support it. No membership in any stereo 
organization is required.

For those not familiar with folios (or circuits), this is when a small 
group of people get together and put 4-6 images in a box and circulate 
it to the other members of the group for critique, comments, and 
enjoyment. Usually a brief description of the image and the equipment 
and technique used is included. Each member comments on the images and 
when the box gets back to you, you replace your images with new ones and 
send it on again. The PSA circuit I belong to also includes a biography 
sheet and a "gab sheet" (for keeping everyone up to date on your latest 
activities and asking questions). Sometimes people include pics of 
themselves and their equipment. Great learning tool and a heck of a lot 
of fun!
