P3D Postcard Photography

I must disagree strongly with Lme Kbee's negative characterization of so
called "postcard" shots.  Postcard photographers are a very talented lot
and their images are published and purchased because of their
excellence.  

I have long made it a practice when arriving in a new location to seek
out the nearest postcard rack for a quick insight as to the best
locations and lighting.  Everyone has different tastes, but there will
always be a place for the gorgeous scenic or landscape.  If you want to
be cutting edge or avant-garde, that should be appreciated too.
