P3D Freeviewing children...

I am wondering how many of the people on this list used to freeview
things as children? Certainly none of us knew the term [freeviewing],
but I remember, distinctly sitting in a recliner in the living room when
I was young (before the age of 9) and staring at the acoustic tile on
the ceiling and letting my eyes relax so that I was gazing to infinity
while focused on the tiles and they would suddenly pop off of the
ceiling and appear close enough that I could reach up and put my finger
through them. Another thing I remember from childhood is being
fascinated as I looked out of the window of the moving family car how
things in the distance moved only a little while the stuff close to me
whizzed by really fast. Do you suppose that, as a class, people who grow
up to be interested in things stereoscopic notice these things more as
children than the average kid?

Enquiring minds want to know...

Jay

ps. This is what I get for being up so late. ;-)
