The CSC has both occasional competitions as well as "open projector"
which happens most every month.  Those who want comment/feedback on
their slides (or just want to show slides) without any competitive 
scoring can show them most every month.  Not infrequently, some of
those slides probably *would* have won a competition had the person
wanted to have entered it in one.  :-)  The "open projector" happens 
even in the same meeting as competitions.

In other words, you can have it any way you want.  Even "both ways"
in the same meeting.

Is this what you had in mind or is there a problem with CSC's 
club setup that you would see to cause problems?

P.S. - I don't think we're fading away.  We even had a nice
       club picnic despite a little precipitation.   :-)
