To support those films, wouldn't they have to have a distribution
system for them (what shops want to inventory them?) plus sales support
for those films to the distribution. They'd have to supply support for
processing the films -- including designing and distribution of adapatations
for their processing machines, plus both technical, sales, and field support
for those machines. Should there be advertising promotions? Kodak paid
for rebates like they do for 35mm?
Maybe Fuji will see the great opportunity and grab it from Kodak?
