P3D RE: Seattle Visit
Just thought I'd give another report about the impromptu stereo club meeting
in
Paul Ivester's home in Seattle. Dittoes to what David said. I enjoyed David
Kesner's
wonderful world of spelunking. I even felt a little clausterphobic from some
of those slides. I always wondered why there were metal gates in front of
some caves,
and now I know (to restrict people traffic, without impeding the bats). I
also felt like I
had been around the world with Paul's world travel slides (I was impressed
that he had
each slide labeled). How many countries were represented? The one with the
black & white
checkered tiled tombs(?) will forever be in my visual memory.
Thankyou, David, for letting us know you were going to be in Seattle, and thank you
Paul for graciously opening up your home to two relative strangers.
(I got to projet my own slides and realize that I can't tell if my slides are
in focus when
I'm so far away from the screen!)
