Undecided. As I understand it, no. The laws still require that everything
be compatible. I remember some group complaining about this. There is still
tons of TV receivers out there that use current technology, and there can't
be a change that makes TV unusable. but, who knows what can or will happen.
I think in 10 tears or so, current TVs will be replaced anyway, as
technology gets better.

Personally, Bill Gates will rule us all through CE for TV's so all hail to
the Chief.
