P3D Richmond projections

I understand that this year in Richmond the stereo theater projection
program was at least double any previous convention. 31 shows by 29
presenters. Many of the presenters were first timers bringing their best
efforts to a varied audience from all over the world. No pressure in
that, eh! This was my first convention and the first time I had seen
projected stereo. Being new to the hobby, maybe my eyes are not as
critical as some, but almost all that I saw was acceptable. Certainly
there were less than a handful of slides that should not have been
shown. I just hope that Mr. Bloomberg repeats the Tuscany show in Green
Bay next year. So BaDDD I would love to see it again. I think that two
months after the convention is bad timing to complain about mounting and
window errors. I would appreciate a direct criticism at the time (after
the show) rather than a blanket criticism of all 29 presenters. If I
were a presenter I would be saying, "is it me? nah! it must be Joe or
Sam or Jack." Nothing is accomplished. Maybe we need a projection
committee to talk to the presenters whose work is not up to speed,
Gently, respectfully, diplomatically. All smileys, no flames....
Thanks for your time,
Claude
