P3D Stereoscopy.com celabrates its 2nd Birthday!

Dear fellow 3D-Enthusiasts,

Stereoscopy.com (http://www.stereoscopy.com)  went on-line two years ago. 
A good time to look back and say "thank you" to all of you who helped to 
spread the word and made it such a success. Just a few days ago, the 
access statistics showed that there are now over 100 Megabytes downloaded 
EVERY DAY - a value I would have never dreamed about a year ago.

Thanks also to all the companies who host their web-pages at 
Stereoscopy.com and help to finance all the other free things available 
on-line. There are may things "in the pipeline" - and readers of Photo-3D 
can rest assured to be among the first to be informed about any changes.

One future project is a 3D-database. If anybody of you out there has any 
experience of setting-up a searchable database on a UNIX-server, please 
contact me. I'd also be interested to get into touch with any student who 
could set it up (etc.). Any hints are greatly appreciated.
