I'm 43, and was always enthralled by View-Master slides.  I kept my set
long after other friends had lost or parted with theirs.  I did wind up
giving most of my reels to my younger cousins at one point, which was
probably a huge mistake.

For some reason, it never occurred to me that mere mortals could actually
take stereo photos.  I was always interested in photography, and pursued it
fairly seriously as a hobby.  Somehow, though, I stumbled on this list in
around 1993 or so, got a splitter and then a Realist, and have been an avid
enthusiast ever since.
