P3D Re: Stereo Movies

I have acquired the Elgeet prism beam-splitter/lens combination for 16mm
movie cameras.

Has anyone got an instruction manual for this item? It looks as if it
soaks up a lot of light. Can I rely on the marked f stops as a starting
point for exposure? What is the effective position of the window with
it? That is, how close can I bring subjects before there is a window
violation? Since the lens is fixed-focused, I would guess that the near
focal point is designed to be the window position.

Does anyone here know?

Also, the accompanying projection lens is made to fit the Bell & Howell
silent projectors of the late '40s to mid '50s. Does anyone have one of
these they want to part with for a reasonable price?

Thanks,

Norm Lehfeldt
