Very good idea but I don't think it would work. The reason being is
(if I remember correctly) the lenses are not in-line but rather
pointing slightly outward relative to each other. They're arranged
this way so that in combination with the unique film transport the
images get transposed. By doing this, the images don't have to be cut
and transposed after developing.
