I saw two autostereo displays at SID '98 in May:
- Sanyo
- Mixed Reality Systems Laboratory, Yokohama, Japan
Both looked very nice, and both were based on modified liquid crystal
displays. They did not employ lenticular structure - the Sanyo used a double
barrier strip structure, and I would have to look up the paper on the other.
Since LCDs don't have a "picture tube", I don't know whether this might have
been a confused report on TV, or whether it might be a different device.
