P3D Re: Cloudy Heat Adsorbing Glass

I had the same exactly experience not with one but a couple TDC 716
projectors (but only 716, never with the 116 model) with 750 W bulbs.
I was thinking that maybe water condensation causes salt deposits...
The temperature of these glasses rises extremely high with the 750W
bulbs. Clearly the glass is attacked and etched and cannot be cleaned.
Colin Clay had suggested repolishing the glass. I am always looking
for cheap 2D projectors to buy just for the heat absorbing glass.

I recommend that people check the condition of the HAG before buying
a 716 projector (or reserve the right to return it if it turns out
that there is a problem with it).
