P3D The Creature, in person

On October 11th, Richard Denning (84), one of the
stars of The Creature from the Black Lagoon, The
Glass Web and Jivaro (all 3D films) passed away.

On November 10, 1997, William Alland, the producer
of Revenge of the Creature, Creature from the Black
Lagoon and It Came from Outer Space (all 3D films)
passed away.

The uncredited actor/dancer who played the Creature
from the Black Lagoon (in the land scenes) is still with
us and for those interested in Southern California:

On Tuesday, October 27th, you can meet Ben Chapman,
the original Creature from the Black Lagoon! Mr. Chapman
will be appearing from 5:00pm until 10:00pm, for an
evening of movie creature history at Monsters in Motion.
