It looks like a cicada grub to me. If it is, you find them everywhere in 
the spring when they crawl out of the ground and hang on trees, tall 
grass, etc and molt. The adult cicada with wings emerges. They are 
word-wide from what I've read. I have an a pic of one emerging at:
