Don,

I think it's a justifiable and appropriate name even if it might not
be used much due to inertia (and not really knowing how to pronounce 
his name :-).

My suggestions all along have been more engineering-style ("realist compatible"
mount).  I think I like yours better -- even though I suspect most will
continue calling it "realist mount", misnomer or not.  Along with
beamsplitters......
